Spray chamber is widely used in textile mill to deal with the air, not only implements a variety of hot wet air handling process, but also has a certain air purification capacity. Water filtration system is one of the an important components of water-jet room, the treated air containing batting and other debris which back into the water, in order to prevent the debris blocking nozzle, need to install the water filtering device in the water return pipe suction, then improve the effect of spraying nozzle. Therefore, the correct analysis of air conditioning water features and reasonable treatment, which is the important way to make the textile air conditioning system more perfect and energy saving.In this subject, the hardness of water and suspension characteristics were tested under different air conditioning water filter form. It is found that air conditioning water hardness through coarse filter, sand filter tank and rotation cage type filter has declined. Theoretically filter can’t change the hardness of water, but a small amount of minerals such as calcium and magnesium salts has precipitated or adhered to the flower hair in the actual process, so air conditioning water hardness has dropped. The filtered water hardness is between 150 mg/L to 450 mg/L, which is in the hard water range and able to meet the requirements of textile production water basically.Spray water quality in addition to considering the merits of the impact of water hardness, the characteristics of suspended solids in water is also an important factor. And then test the content of suspended particles in water and diameter respectively:(1) According to determination of soluble solids(gravimetric method), respectively measuring the suspended solids in water samples before and after water filtration device. Then by contrast, the variation in concentration of suspended substance in water sample changes greatly through filtration, indicating that different filter forms has the effect of improving the air quality.(2) Using professional software Image-Pro Plus 6.0 analysis microscope photos of suspended solids in water.Displayed in different ways of the particle size distribution of suspended solids found that the maximum particle diameter decreases by 142.8μm to 62.2μm after the dust water flow through filter, and the minimum particle diameter by 2.24μm into 3.16μm. Particle size of less than5μm suspension classification efficiency is far below the classification efficiency greater than 20μm particle size of suspended solids. It shows that after water filter, water flow to fine particles and the purification effect for this fine particles is ineffective.
