Solar energy is a kind renewable energy with a great development potential. Harmful substances will not be produced to pollute environmental in the process of using solar energy. And the use of solar energy is very easy and convenient. Environmental pollution and energy shortage are increasingly prominent with the consumption of fossil energy. So, development of solar energy is very important. Solar power is one of the methods of solar energy utilization, which has got a lot of attention. Solar power is a power generation way by using energy conversion. It can be divided into off-grid type and grid connection type. At present, the grid connection type is the most used way.A solar power generation system with 1 Kw was designed in this paper. It is a single-phase grid connection power generation system established in a local location. Firstly, present situation and future development prospect of solar power system at home and abroad were introduced, characteristics of the solar cells were analyzed and several kinds of maximum power tracking method were studied.Secondly, DC-DC booster module and DC-AC inverter module were designed. DC-DC booster module provides a stable input voltage for inverter part by pumping dc voltage by using of whole bridge LLC resonant circuit. DC-AC inverter module realizes the output of inverter current and tracking of frequency and phase for power grid voltage. STM32F051 microcontroller was selected as the control core of the whole system.Lastly, parameter design and components selection of all parts of power system parameter were completed. Hardware and software were designed such as drive circuit, sampling circuit and so on. According to theoretical analysis of the whole system, simulation modes of booster transform and inverter part were established by the software MATLAB/SIMULINK. Resonant voltage, harmonic current, network voltage and grid connection current were calculated. The simulation results are verified by building experiment platform. That laid a solid foundation for further improvement and optimization of solar power generation system.
