Granite residual soil are those that have not been weathered granite residual soil handling and in-situ detrital material composed mainly of quartz, feldspar, calcite and other minerals and coarse kaolin-based clay minerals. Its original rock structure is completely destroyed, can be peeled off by hand and fingers crush the past China has been to look at it as clay. However, due to its high content of mica, loose structure, poor water stability, low adhesion, rolling molding difficulties, so the road of application is limited.Tong ping highway 1 to 7 logo (K1+000~K42+500) distribute a lot of granite residual soil, in order to ensure tongping highway roadbed stability and durability, based on the granite residual soil on flat highway system of indoor experiment was carried out, the field rolling test, the deflection test and settlement observation in order to develop research, system research of the granite residual soil filling highway subgrade system of granite residual soil subgrade filling technology is studied. The main achievement are as follows:(1) After conducted a series of indoor material test, we have a comprehensive understanding of the engineering properties of weathered granite. According to the engineering properties of weathered granite and different section of subgrade’s filling,we put forward different treatment. And we also proposed weathered granite filling material’s compaction standard according to test road’s study.(2) We studied the reinforcement mechanism of cement soil and the results indicates that cement can significantly improved weathered granite’s physical properties and mechanical properties. According to cement soil’s 7days immersed compressive strength to determine the content of cement. And we proposed cement soil’s compressive strength requirements and cement content and construction treatment depends on different part of subgrade section.(3) We studied the weathered granite’s compaction mechanism through the building of test road and put forward optimum compaction technology of weathered granite filling subgrade.(4) After analyzed the data of deflection test and settlement detection,we find the subgrade which usegranite residual soil as filling material has a good stability.
