The durability problem of reinforced concrete structure is one of the most noticeable by engineering field around the world, and the corroded reinforcement is the most main factors to influence the durability of reinforced concrete structures and is one of the most common issues for concrete weakness used in structures.The corrosion will result in reduction of steels’ interface area, degradation of mechanical properties, the cracking of protecting cover. The corrosion is caused to shear brittle failure for inclined section fiexural member, and the consequences is more serious than normal section damage. At present, the research on bearing capacity of intersection of reinforced concrete has been carried out widely both at home and abroad while the research on the shear performance of inclined intersection is less. Because of the short diameter of stirrups and the thin protecting concrete, stirrups’corrosion is often in more serious situation and delivers greater effect on the shearing of inclined intersection.Based on the related experimental data, the shear properties of corroded reinforced concrete beam are analyzed and studied in this paper. The main research work can drawn as following:(1) The mechanisms and effect factors of corroded reinforcing steel bar are inducted and is focused on reinforcement corrosion caused by the main influencing factors.(2) Several theory models on the shear capacity of reinforced concrete beams are reviewed and compared of the advantage and disadvantage, and introduced in detail the truss model theory, the theory of limit equilibrium theory, theory of plasticity model.(3) Based on the shear theory of truss arch model, through the test data analysis-improved truss arch model was proposed on shear capacity calculation. The calculated results and experimental results is compared and analyzed, the accuracy of the proposed method is verified.(4) For shear bearing capacity of corroded beam calculation, the shear bearing capacity corroded beam calculation is based on the shear bearing capacity calculation formula in this paper. The calculation formula is Introduced the reinforcement corrosion of yield strength and the actual area, at the same time considered corrosion section of concrete damage and the decrease of the bond strength and degradation of the role of pin plug, puts forward the correction coefficient of stirrup corrosion rate. Collect related data of linear regression, get the formula of shear bearing capacity of corroded beams.Finally, in the paper, calculation method and existing method for calculating the shear capacity of corroded beams the contrast analysis, from the whole data, the formula calculation value and experimental value is well fit.
