China’s energy development and utilization has been one of the problems which researchers focus on,which is also the key factors relationship in our country socialism sustainable development and people life quality.With the widespread use of the old energy and continuous development of new energy, it also will cause the waste of energy and unreasonable use, so the technology of research the energy saving is urgent. Phase change energy storage technology, as one of the new type of energy-saving technology, it has its own unique ability to absorb heat and how to effectively use storage. Phase change materials for energy storage is mainly refers to the change of environmental temperature, where the state of material phase change will happen, at the same time,the materials from the environment to absorb or release heat process. In this paper, which mainly aimed at phase change paraffin RT28 to study the effect of energy saving in the building wall.This research was to researh phase change materials for use in energy saving building wall body, and then test the effect of energy storage by means of experimental test and software simulation. This article reviews the development of phase change energy storage material in the introduction part, and analyzed respectively the classification and characteristics of materials. This paper choose phase change paraffin RT28. We study the phase change energy storage material, and the microcapsule technology to packaging materials. Using differential scanner calorimeter(DSC) to tests the thermal performance of phase change paraffin RT28,including the phase change temperature, specific heat capacity and durability of the materials and phase change enthalpy, etc. We found the capsule preparation RT28 can meet the requirements of phase change materials, and the material of the heat storage capacity with the microcapsule technology increasedIn order to detect the actual energy saving effect of phase change paraffin RT28,this study combined with a company in Fuyang to test application of phase change wall. The construction of the test bench used the principle of similarity, which will join the phase change paraffin RT28 to the wall of autoclaved aerated concrete,comparing with ordinary wall. The experimental results showed that compared with ordinary wall that are not in phase change materials, the highest temperature whose walls added phase change paraffin RT28 reduce about 2℃, about 9% energy saving atthe same time, and this wall can effectively reduces the change of room temperature,also can strengthen the performance of the autoclaved aerated concrete. Finally this paper used the finite element analysis software ANSYS to simulate the wall heat transfer, and to simulate surface temperature along with environmental temperature change respectively about the wall join the phase change paraffin RT28 and ordinary wall. The maximum error between the data of Simulation analysis and the experimental test data is less than 2%, conform to the requirements. This paper bulided the mathematical and physical models about phase change wall respectively,which provide valuable information of phase change materials for the further research application.
