There is widespread time-delay in most industrial processes. The existence of time-delay to the control of the system is extremely detrimental to serious or even undermines the stability of the system. PID control algorithm in the actual production has been widely used, but the control effect is not good for the time-delay system. Artificial immune theory is a new intelligent method. It is the reference of biological immune system functions, features and mechanisms to design controller. Artificial immune controller only depend on the previous moment that the controller output changes and does not depend on the current measurements. Therefore, the impact of the time-delay can be avoided. In recent years it become a hot research direction, and in many areas has been widely applied.This paper studies the immune thinking in the field of application of automatic control. Learn from the immune mechanism of biological systems to design of industrial controller which has a short adjust time, anti-interference ability and other characteristics. To sum up, the contents and results of this research is mainly reflected in the following aspects:1. Using clonal selection principle of on-line optimization control parameters adjustable PID controller.2. Non-linear function as the identification part of a two-factor immune controller.3. This Paper will be Immune controller and the Smith predictor combined and designs a new kind of controller4. Realization of clonal selection controller, dual-factor immune controller and immune-Smith Controller using C# language to control furnace. Verify the control effect of three kinds of immune controller and analyze the role of each parameter. Results show that the principle of the use of immune-designed controller can achieve better than the traditional controller. And in robustness, anti-jamming capability, they are superior.
