Snow storms are common snow disasters in the north of China, as there will always be a long ice period in winter. While snow plough Vehicle can effectively clear the snow covered on the railway. The main difference between snow plough Vehicle and road snow sweeper is the wheel set system, which is the core equipment of the railway snow plough. It will provide a theoretical basis for optimal structure designing through further studying the wheel set, thus it can decrease maintenance, improve security and reliability, and reduce the operating costs.Abaqus is used to build wheel set model and to analyze finite element. The contact force between wheel and rail turns to increase with increasing wheel load after studying the contact characteristic between wheel and rail under different wheel load. There will be no change both the Abaqus and the shear in three directions through studying the Abaqus in the different friction coefficient. A static analysis for railway track can get a result that its stresses, displacement and strains will all increase with increasing wheel load. Through modal analysis.Vibration frequency and harmonic response come out, therefore we can find the weak link and improve the structure of wheel set, so as to avoid resonance which due to the excitation frequency proximate the natural frequency.
