With the development of society, the construction conditions in modern urban is limited. Construction often causes traffic congestion, environmental pollution, land acquisition and other issues. Pipe jacking is one of non excavation underground pipeline construction technology adopted in city, it has little disturbance on the roads, rivers, buildings, does not affect the use of existing buildings and structures of underground construction, low noise, earthwork and slurry concentration emissions, damage to the environment is small, fast construction progress and other characteristics, it can be widely applied in the underground pipeline in crossing tunnel, municipal engineering, and achieved good economic benefit and social benefit for the construction of the city.In this thesis, sewage drainage works are built in Shijiazhuang Jianhua Street. According to the engineering geological conditions, on-site technical conditions and construction requirements, design and construction of pipe jacking is given. Firstly, the size of rainwater pipe receiving well, work well, sewers receiving well are carried out; secondly, soft sap2000 is adopted to calculated the pit strength and to design the excavation pit support; and then, jacking force is calculated, and pipe jacking construction method are introduced; Finally, construction monitoring program and construction safety assurance measures were given.
