With the development of modern high-tech fields of electronics and information technology, bio-medical, aerospace technology. After the eighties of the last century,MEMS(Micro Electromechanical System)technology and heat flux on high-density electronic devices has grown rapidly.The request for spatial scale became more and more smaller, the structure became more compact, the heat and mass transfer processes became more complex.The microchannel flow can not only save supplies to reduce the weight of the equipment,but also can greatly improve the efficiency of heat transfer.The small volume and performance advantages of heat exchanger have been recognized by public.So microchannel heat exchanger on the water heater research and optimization of great significance to improve the quality of people’s lives and to save energy.This article is based on the macro-scale flow and heat transfer theory, analyzed the fluid flow within the microchannel and the simulation study of the micro-channel heat exchanger heater performance by Fluent software and theoretical calculations.The main contents are of the following aspects:1. By reading the literature of microscale flow reported by experts in recent years to summarizes the history and current situation and research methods, by analysis the main influenced factors,points out the direction for further development of the current situation on the microchannel studies.2.Through the classical numerical heat transfer theory are introduced,established the mathematical model and compared the characteristics with the microchannel fluid flow, in order to calculated the Nu number,friction coefficient,pressure drop and other physical parameters of the fluid flow within microchannels, proposed The mathematical model microchannel flow process fluid flow within the channel.3. analysis the performance of different structural of microchannel heat exchanger water heater. Comparison of simulation results illustrate the different structural forms microchannel heat exchanger heater performance of the merits, And proposed optimization scheme.4. Select a different tube shaped microchannel as research subjects. Numerical simulation under different casts of microchannel heat exchanger performance.After comprehensive analysis of the microchannel heat exchanger tube heater options.5.In order to improve the performance of the microchannel heat exchanger water heater.analyzed and compared different flow rates, cross-sectional dimensions,mass flow in microchannel heat exchangers,Points out the influence of micro-channel heat exchanger efficiency.
