With the continuous improvement of the degree of complexity of the engine structure, an increasing number of factors affecting the engine operating state, resulting in the type of engine failures are increasingly complex and diverse, then greatly increasing the difficulty of the engine condition monitoring and fault diagnosis. Therefore, how timely and accurate to monitor the engine working condition, has become an urgent problem to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the engine. The purpose of this study is to explore the engine condition monitoring and fault diagnosis method based on the vibration and oil information fusion. The main contents are as follows:According to vibration cause of engine and wear mechanisms, the contacts among engine mechanical failure, engine mechanical vibration and mechanical wear are analyzed, the hybrid fault tree of engine vibration and wear based on the vibration and oil information fusion is built, then, revealing the intrinsic relationship of them, and provide reference information for the establishment of the vibration and the oil information fusion engine condition monitoring and fault diagnosis model.Vibration characteristic parameters and oil characteristic parameters are extracted, and vibration information and information of engine oil are obtained, then using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to establish a comprehensive evaluation model about the state of engine based on vibration and oil information fusion, Finally, the monitoring method of engine working condition is put forward based on the information of variation and oil characteristics, and a new condition monitoring method of engine to be foundBecause of the randomness and fuzziness between the working condition and fault characteristic of the engine, the information of engine vibration and the characteristic information of lubricating oil wear particle are considered, then using fuzzy theory method to establish comprehensive fault diagnosis model of engine based on vibration and oil information fusion, confirming the comprehensive fault diagnosis method of engine based on vibration and oil information fusion, and fault diagnosis to be come true for engine based on vibration analysis and oil analysis.Through case analysis, it’s verified the correctness and effectiveness of the engine condition monitoring and fault diagnosis method based on vibration information and oil information fusion.
