The Research Of Power Switch Fault Diagnosis Strategy In Two-stage Matrix Converter

TSMC has the advantages of excellent electrical characteristics, compact-sized, and high integration,it has great value application value in the field of automotive,aerospace and military industries,these applications require the power converter have highly reliability. Fault diagnosis and fault tolerant control are effective measures to improve the reliability of power converter system.The fault diagnosis strategy of TSMC power switch is studied in this paper.The research is as follows:Firstly, the research significance and development of matrix converter power switch fault diagnosis technology is introduced in this paper, the topological structure of CMC and the operating principle of TSMC under space vector modulation are analysed. Secondly, the TSMC’s operation mode and output phase voltage respectively in inverter stage and rectifier stage with power switch failure are also analysed, corresponding fault features are obtained, through the contrast analysis of them, in the case of two fault conditions,there are some difficult part to distinguish the fault features, introduced of DC voltage for auxiliary judgment.Then, according to switch error voltage fault diagnosis strategy of CMC,the switch group error voltage notion of TSMC is introduced, and according to the number of the output phase error voltage, the open circuit fault diagnosis method for power switch in TSMC is proposed. Compared with the current method of power switch fault diagnosis strategy in CMC, this voltage method is independent in the modulation strategy of TSMC, the sensitivity of parameters is lower, less affected by the load and the outside noise disturbance factors, the diagnosis time is relatively short,the implement are more simple and feasible. Finally, according to the proposed diagnosis procedure, build the fault diagnosis system simulation model of TSMC in the matlab/simulink simulation environment,all kinds of fault condition are analyzed in the simulation,the simulation results verified the correctness and effectiveness of fault diagnosis strategy.
