Transient Electromagnetic Method technology provides a new idea and method for metallic ore exploration, and the increasing scope of application. The method implementation without contact the detected objects, no excavation, reasonable cost,does not affect the normal operation of the detected objects. But the transient electromagnetic method for parallel or overlap metallic pipe is still a lack of accuracy evaluation, fast evaluation, so that not only cause security problems, pollution problems and economic losses, but also hindered the development and actual application effect. In response to these practical problems, study on the magnetic signal of directional or focusing type loading, innovation puts forward the magnetic focusing technique merged into the TEM system, researches and designs the system of magnetic focusing transient electromagnetic detection, to achieve accurate detection of area on the target or targets based on transient electromagnetic magnetic focusing technology. In order to achieve fixed-point detection accurate for the target or target area, transient electromagnetic magnetic focusing technology focuses on the focusing performance of the exciting magnetic field. A large number of studies have shown that the focusing performance of the exciting magnetic field is associated with spatial structure of transmitting coil, so the optimization of the coil structure helps to improve the focusing capability of the emission system magnetic field. This paper from the view of engineering application, designs a hybrid optimization algorithm based on genetic algorithm and particle swarm algorithm, in order to reach the optimization of transmitting coil magnetic focusing performance for TEM. Full text closely around this goal, is mainly from the following several parts to carry out the work.(1) The study of transient electromagnetic method principle and the coil magnetic field principle, analyzed the influence of the parameters of TEM model magnetic field distribution;(2) Researches and improves the basic genetic algorithm and particle swarm algorithm. Analyzed advantages and disadvantages of the two algorithms, andM then designed a hybrid optimization algorithm, and tested the performance of three kinds of algorithms, and ultimately compared to select algorithm more suitable for TEM optimization; and constructed the fitness function can meet the actual engineering requirements of magnetic field distribution;(3) Combined with the functional characteristics of finite element analysis software and high level language, designed the external communication interface program between finite element analysis software and high level language, jointly realized TEM transmit coils optimization;(4) Researched the typical coil array model, innovation designed coil array model, and used the hybrid optimization algorithm to optimize the new model, according to the impact parameters;(5) To ensure normal work of transmitting coil array, matching designed emission driver of transient electromagnetic magnetic focusing;(6) Through comparing the experiment test and simulation, illustrated the performance and practical value of the transmitting coil array.
