Tightness for the life of the aircraft flight safety would have a non-ignorable impact, poor sealing can even endanger the safety of the pilot and passengers. For a long time, the plane sealing glue work in aircraft assembly manufacturing process occupies a very important position. However, up to now, the work process is completed by human manual work. This way of working is not only low levels of efficiency and quality of glue cannot be guaranteed. There is no doubt that the development of suitable for aircraft assembly process of gluing machine for the aircraft manufacturing industry has very important significance. Specific work is as follows:(1) This paper expounds the glue in the process of aircraft assembly process, identified the main objectives of gluing machine for aircraft wing Panel. Through the wing Panel needs to seal cracks on the surface composition of structural analysis and combined the system components of gluing machine, formulated the glue machine principle prototype of the mechanical system should meet the design requirements and design indicators.(2) The driving and transmitting types of different kinds of robots are compared based on the requirements and indicators of the design with the recent development level of the industrial robot. The basic form, principle schemes and technical schemes are proposed in the order, which are determined using the method of weighted average, and then the layout form of the glue machine main mechanism is determined finally.(3) The transmission system of the glue machine is firstly designed based on the design scheme of the machine, which includes the rectangular coordinate structure using to position glue gun and the designated position regulator using to regulate the position and posture. Then, the moving parts of the system are selected by the calculation. Finally, the body frame is designed based on the structure and size of the transmission system. In the process of the design, each of the part is built the 3D model and then assembled virtually to detect the interference with the Pro/E software.(4) The Pro/E software to establish the glue machine parts model is imported into ANSYS software, utilize finite element method to complete the static and modal analysis of the key parts, verify the reliability of the component design.
