Since the collapse of the progressive collapse and seismic building structures frequently, so national experts and scholars continue to explore and analyze the field of research collapsed structures.Overseas studies on the structure of the system collapse has been very thorough, and introduced more than the collapse of building structures design specifications to guide practice. But even the design specifications of the latest formulation is still a lack of specific requirements concerning the structure and systematic approach to the design of anti-collapse. There are no standard related fields in china currently.Computational tools of this article is general finite element structural analysis software MIDAS / GEN.Reference to foreign mature design analysis method,the paper set in a 30-story structure which is followed China’s structural design specification requirements.The top frame-shear wall structure contains large span Waffle Slab Floor.Evaluation and quantitative analysis of the ability of the lateral and vertical collapse of the structure will be run. Specific contents of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper focuses on the theoretical issues of anti-progressive collapse of the structure,which also includes the causes and factors of the collapse. The paper describes in detail the current main methods of analysis of the structure of progressive collapse. In the aspect of the lateral collapse of the structure, the paper describes the structure of Pushover analysis methods and procedures. In the aspect of the vertical collapse of the structure, this paper set the contents of the American progressive collapse specifications as theoretical preparation, and describes linear and nonlinear analysis and design methods of the vertical collapse of the structure. At the same time,the paper analyzes the structures used in this paper in order to discuss the structural characteristics and differences between this structure and other structures.(2)By using the pushover analysis, Three-dimensional model of the structure of the paper selected were pushover in both directions.This paper analyzes the plastic state and changes in each component of the structure and, give plastic hinge of the structure,combined with the seismic performance of a seismic structures for assessment,calculated ductility factor and superior coefficient structure. In order to resist lateral collapse of the structure of scientific understanding and the ability to make areasonable evaluation.(3)Based on both linear and nonlinear static analysis tools, through the vertical path method Structural collapse continuity problems. Demolition set different conditions in different parts of the components, the strain stress surrounding members after the failure of its members split by calculating the change in the structure of demand for DCR values than to assess the ability of anti-vertical continuity of the collapse. On the basis of the results of linear, nonlinear static analysis of the process of the collapse of the vertical structure were analyzed and verified.
