This thesis takes spaceborne hoop truss deployable antenna for the research background, taking the requirements of stability and accuracy in the course of development of the hoop truss deployable antenna into account, the process of deployment of the hoop truss deployable antenna is studied by numerical simulation. In order to describe the process of deployment more accurately, it is particularly important to select the appropriate modeling method, in this thesis, we conduct the numerical simulation of the process of deployment of the hoop truss deployable antenna by using the absolute nodal coordinate method. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:First, we construct the dynamic model of a flexible pendulum swing by using the classical one-dimensional and two-nodal beam element which is based on absolute nodal coordinate method, and the numerical simulation of free swing is carried out, and we validate the effectiveness of the absolute nodal coordinate method in the simulation of movement of flexible body in the view of energy.Second, the spatial beam element model is derived and constructed based on the one-dimensional and two-nodal beam element model, and the correctness of the spatial beam element model is validated by the space flexible double pendulum. At the same time, the establishment of the dynamics equation of beam system and the handle of constraints in the beam system are introduced.Finally, kinematic analysis of the process of deployment of the hoop truss deployable antenna is carried out. At the same time, we establish the dynamic model of the hoop truss deployable antenna by using the space beam element model which is proposed in this thesis, And conduct the numerical simulation of the process of deployment, and a comparative analysis between the results of the numerical simulation and kinematic analysis is presented.at the end of this thesis, a brief summary and prospect is made.
