Distributed control system (DCS) is a automation control system which integrated automatic control, computer, network and database technology and so on. It is various used in many aspects of many areas, such as information monitoring and management, etc.This paper studies on the configuration application of EDPF-NT distributed control system in YONGfu power plant. The main work done is as follows:(1) Study the structure of EDPF-NT distributed control system and the hardware and software functions. This paper studies the formation principle of EDPF-NT distributed control system, analyzes the function and role of seven subsystems (include ENG station OPR station, DPU station, CAC station, HSR station,LOG station, and GATEWAY station) of EDPF-NT,and analyzes the configuration and function of the application software.(2) Study EDPF-NT system configuration for YONGFU power plant.It contains the principle of system configuration, the hardware and software configuration, the generator unit control system and human-machine interface design, etc. It Also focuses on the use of control configuration tool and the graphic generation software. In addition, it also studies the engineering configuration methods and steps.(3) Configuration design for the Combustion control system. This paper analyzes the structure, working process and function of the coal mill control system, air volume control system,air supply motor control and the secondary air control subsystem. Further more, it implements the project configuration design respectively.(4) Configuration and simulation for the Steam temperature control system. This paper analyses the factors influencing the dynamic characteristics of the steam temperature control system, Such as steam flow, flue gas heat transmission and desuperheating water flow, etc. In view of the superheated steam temperature control for turbine generator units of YONGFU power plant adopts the secondary water spray cooling control method, analyze Primary and secondary superheater temperature control system, implement configuration design for them, and constitute a superheated steam temperature cascade control system. Based on simulation for cascade control system to test the availability of the steam temperature control system.
