The wind turbine is a power machinery which can convert wind energy into mechanical energy.The wind turbine mainly comprises wind wheel and generator, and the wind wheel is composed of blades, hub, the reinforcements,etc…The main principle of wind power generation is: The wind wheel takes advantage of wind and drives windmill blades to rotate, then the generator generates electricity through boosting the rolling speed of growth machine.The foundation of wind turbine bears the whole weight of wind generator in the entire structure. Moreover, the bending moment formed by the wind thrust and the countertorque generated by the wind wheel rotation, which have transferred to the foundation through the effect of tower. If the foundation has problems, the tower and the wind turbine would be damaged and result in huge losses. Therefore, it is essential to research the foundation of wind turbine. The Finite Element Analysis software ANSYS will be platform of modelling and counting, the Finite Element Method will be the theoritical basis, which can analyse the mechanical characteristics of the wind generator foundation based on different types of soils. The major taskes are as follows:1.The theory of nonlinear finite element contact analysis is introduced into the contact analysis of interaction between foundation and soil of wind turbine, use ANSYS as the analysis platform and establish a three dimensional finite element model of interaction between foundation and soil of wind turbine.Through analysis this, we can get the stress distribution and displacement based on the connection between the foundation and different types of soils in fixed loads, and which can comprehensively analyse the stress of structure and the main mechanical properties of foundation.2.After the distribution of reaction force is obtained by ANSYS finite element method, the main mechanics parameters of interaction between foundation and soil of wind turbine are solved by using the finite element method.3.Through the rsearch above, the analysis of vibrational characteristics of foundation structure is studied to provide the theory evidence for the design and optimization of wind turbine foundation structure.
