With the development of power generation technologies based upon new energy and from the perspective of considering the gradually exhausted traditional petrochemical resources and environmental protection, people pay more and more attention to the distributed generation technology which is using the clean energy. The micro-grid technology is a new structure and organization method of distributed energy. It has flexible operating modes and a good scheduling performance which can provide the safe, efficient and reliable electric energy. To achieve the above development targets, it is necessary to have a further development of the theory, method and model algorithm system of the existing electric power system. The key is to realize the intelligent electronic power system and have a further integration between the electronic power system and information system through introducing the new computing and communication technology. Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) can be used to solve the above questions.CPS is a synthetic system which is combined calculation, communication and intelligent control as one. It composes a new analytical hotspot after the unified integration of physical system and information system. The typical CPS structure is divided into four layers: (1) physical layer (2) communication layer (3) processing layer (4) application layer. The connection of CPS and micro-grid is the development direction of the intelligent grid in the future and micro-grid is one aspect of the intelligent grid. The opening and sharing of the information is the basis of the intelligent grid. The micro-grid is made up of many types of distributed generation units, storage energy devices, electrical load and the energy management unit in the power generation dispatching center of the micro-grid. In the micro-grid, the storage energy system plays a very important role in the aspect of how to control the micro-grid steadily, how to improve the electric power quality of the micro-grid and how to supply the power generation continuously.At first, the paper has introduced the type and function of the common micro-grind and distributed generation. Then it has described the basic principle of solar cell, secondary cell and the super capacitor as well as constructed the mathematical physics model based upon them. At last, it has analyzed their functions in the micro-grid which is the analytic research of the physical layer of the CPS.Then the paper has extracted the IEC 61968 international standard. For the CPS information model, the paper has researched the Common Information Model (CIM) of the electric power system which has utilized the similar structure of electric power system with object-oriented modeling. On the basis of IEC61968 standard, it has researched the modeling method, control unit and distributed power generation of CIM. And then it has extended the CIM model of solar cell, secondary cell and the super capacitor. All of these are the analytic research based upon the information layer of CPS.At last, since there are various micro power supply of micro-grid and their output characteristic are different, the micro-grid platform which is made by the traditional simple micro power generation model is hard to make a simulation research of the current micro-grid. For the above situations, it has established the micro-grid system which is including the distributed power generation supply as photovoltaic grid-connected inverter, the large capacity Power Conversion System (PCS) with super capacitor and the large capacity Power Conversion System (PCS) with secondary cell, and it has made a stimulation of the working process. It has provided a good stimulation platform for the further research of micro-grid.
