| As the rapid development of public infrastructure construction, the application of non-excavation horizontal directional drilling(HDD) spreads widely. The power head is the core component of HDD that the study on its rapid design method can effectively shorten the HDD development cycle and improve the company’s response capability to market changes. The dissertation is mainly based on the key technologies applied in constructing the rapid design platform, with a concrete study on parametric variety design, customer demands analysis, functional module distributing methods, secondary development and other aspects.(1) The power head modeling and customer demands preprocessing. Determine the design methods of the typical structure of HDD power head and apply the Pro/E parametric modeling methods to build the 3D model base of the power head; analyze the preprocessing methods of obtaining, analyzing and transforming the customer demands of the power head and use the developed quality function deployment model to quantify the customer demands into the parameters of the design process gradually, as the import basement for process development.(2) The power head functional module distribution, based on the customer demands. Apply the related values, the weight values and the relevant comprehensive weight values to build the design matrix model MC, MR and MS for the power head respectively. Then modeling the matrix of relation MD for power head design by involving in the dependency of the customer demands and structure models, and conduct the tearing and decoupling of the matrix with the sequence reproduction and binary tree calculation to determine the priority of the different design modules.(3) Generate the rapid design platform for HDD power head based on customer demands. The VS 8.0 is employed for the secondary development of Pro/E and the rapid design methods theories of intellectualization, modularization, parametrization and automatic assembling are applied to generate the rapid design platform conforming the customer demands. the dissertation uses the operation examples to introduce the function and operation procedures of the platform are introduced, which proves the feasibility of the rapid design process.Using the methods above, this dissertation successfully constructs rapid design platform for HDD power head based on customer demands. The operation examples show that the methods can bring the accepted customer demands data of HDD into the parameters of power head design process, and then active the parametric variety design of different functional modules to regenerate the HDD power head model quickly. This method solves the problems of complicated and tedious design for a single power head, long design cycle, slow market response, and so on. Meanwhile, it provides a new methods and the reference in theory for the rapid design of complicated mechanical products. |
