Composite materials are used in aerospace applications more and more widely, theeffective online testing can ensure that when the aircraft composite parts are damaged,the injury can be found accurately and timely, so that it can be replaced or repaired.Acoustic emission technology is a new dynamic online detection technology, and hasbeen widely used in a variety of non-destructive testing of metallic materials, but thenon-destructive testing of composite materials in aircraft is still in the preliminary stage,so it needs further study.In the thesis, the acoustic emission technology about non-destructive testing ofaircraft composite is studied. Based on composite damage types and the characteristicsof the acoustic emission signals that will generate when aircraft composite structuresdamage, a set of acoustic emission detection system have been designed.TMS320F28335is chosen as the core processing chip, and software program isdeveloped with CCS3.3, the storage of acoustic emission signal data and relatedparameters is achieved.In the thesis, the signal analysis method of acoustic emission is done in-depthdiscussion, meanwhile spectrum analysis method and wavelet analysis method arestudied. The collected data is analyzed with different analysis methods, obtainingproperties in the frequency domain and characteristics of acoustic emission signals,depth research and analysis for acoustic emission signals is achieved well.
