In recent years, as improvement of people’s living standards, it is continuously growingfor the car holdings of our residengts. And the vast majority of cars are running in the city.Numerous vehicle emissions cause serious deterioration of urban air quality, fog and hazehave occurred frequently. Development and promotion of electric vehicles can effectivelyalleviate urban air pollution problems.As one of the key technologies of electric vehicles, battery management system plays animportant role, which is to use the energy of the battery pack more rationaly, increase thedriving distance, and improve vehicle safety.This paper mainly studies state of charge estimation for battery management system, andBattery packs equalization control and management.In the aspect of estimating state of charge, after studying the currently used method,Kalman filter is selected as the estimation method, then the simulation results show that themethod used in estimating the state of charge is valid.In the aspect of battery equalization control management, the paper selects the inductanceelement to achieve non-energy balance control, and simulation results show the feasibility ofthe program, finally designing the equalization control signal circuit schematic for thisscheme.In theory, this article produces using the LTC6802battery information acquisition boardand equalized signal control board, complete part of software design and debugging based onTMS320F2812.
