With the rapid development of economy,the demand of mineral resources in the social development of our country is increasingly urgent; the number of exploitation of mines is also increasing, and thus the geological disasters and environmental problems bought by the miningwasteland of this cause have become increasingly prominent, therefore,the governance of mine abandoned land has become an urgent problem to be solved. At present, the governance of abandoned mines of China basically focuses on ecological restoration, mostly relying on simple green vegetation or some treesplanting, and then being supplemented by related natural landscape and technological strength, so that the mine can be harmonious with the natural environment. This recovery method can achieve some certain effect, however, the features and content of mining wasteland itself have not been properly reflected by this way, and it neglected the effect of facilitating the improvement of material life and spiritual life of local residents. Therefore, it is very important to put forward the landscape restoration design for reasonably repairing mining wasteland landscape and realizing the integration of mining ruins culture with the natural environment.This thesis firstly conducts relative in-depth study on the related theories of landscape restoration design of mining wasteland, and illustrates the background of mining wasteland restoration design and conducts analysis and comparison of related scenic experiences at home and abroad based on related theories of landscape architecture; secondly, this thesis discusses the methodology, design techniques and ecological technology of landscape restoration design of mining wasteland by taking the Pit Park in Panma port, Xiashan District as an example; and adapts the mode of integrating industrial landscape and natural landscape from the perspective of landscape design, so as to cleverly take advantage of natural terrain and resources for the purpose of highlighting the cultural connotation, and puts forward the landscape restoration design scheme of Pit Park in Panma port, Xiashan District. Finally, this thesis makes a conclusion on the planning and design of landscape restoration of mining wasteland in our country, and proposes that the landscape restoration of mining wasteland should highlight the cultural connotation and local features of mining wasteland, and the views of ensuring the sustainable development of the ecological environment.
