Fiber added in the cement concrete can improve its performance, and this is a newfield of construction materials research.The current domestic research of incorporatingfiber types are divided into two areas: synthetic fiber and mineral fiber, but foreignscholars have begun to try to use plant fiber to reinforce cement concrete performance,and get the green, environmental, superior performance and economical fiber cementconcrete.Sisal fiber is hard, elastic, friction resistance, good low temperature resistanceand high tensile strength, etc, in addition, also has a large length, white colour and lustre,seawater corrosion and many other features.This article is on the basis of the identified main experimental parameters of flexuralstrength, water cement ratio, sand ratio, dosage of unit of water and sand and gravel.Andthe article carry out laboratory test to determine the sisal fiber content, water cement ratio,sand ratio and other factors on the workability of concrete and the influence of the roadperformance;And through determining its flexural performance, splitting tensileproperties,the article determines the lab optimal mixture ratio.Through laboratory bestmixture ratio we try to match the strength of engineering test, combining with theconstruction site of raw materials performance, construction mix proportion parametercorrection.Through the test section of the road paving construction, the article get thebest engineering mixture ratio.By a large number of laboratory tests and engineering tests, and combined withpractical engineering tests on a city road pavement of Huanggang City in Hubei Province,this paper determines the technical requirements and the construction process of sisalfiber concrete. The results show that when using HQ-UNF naphthalene superplasticizershould adopt the dry mixing process. Cement ratio optimum range is0.33to0.36, sandratio optimum range is0.35to0.37. Best mix design of construction is: cement: water:sand: gravel: sisal: superplasticizer=1:0.340:1.343:2.501:0.010:0.025. Optimumquality of sisal in sisal fiber content is0.19%. Compared with other fiber reinforcedconcrete, sisal fiber cement concrete uses the minimum amount of cement, flexural strength and compressive strength has great improvement, and the overall performance ofconcrete can be improved and the costs reduce by about5.6%. So sisal fiber cementconcrete has a bright economy and application prospect.
