With the advance of aero-engine technology, the combustor needs to be stablework in wider scope because the pressure and temperature of the combustor increased.Swirler has a comprehensive influence on combustor working performance, so thereasonable design of swirler has a great role in promoting the ascension of the overallperformance in aero-engine combustor and it is very necessary to research the swirler. In this paper, several groups of different number and installation angle of thethird stage swirler blade in triple-stage swirler cup were designed with reference tosingle-stage swirler design method. Then choose one triple-stage swirler cupcombustor with four different turbulent models and the disappearance of four differentparticle on the numerical simulation and PIV experiment, through analyzing theresults of numerical simulation and PIV experiment, confirmed the model used innumerical simulation of turbulent and tracer particles used by PIV experiment. Thenthe numerical simulation and PIV experiment the method of combining to severalother triple-stage swirler cup combustor flow characteristics must be discussed. The results show that the blade installation angle is an important parameter todetermine the performance of swirler and according to the flame tube size and inlet ofreasonable selection. Particles closing to the fluid density or small density ratio withfluid are good enough to follow the fluid and can get more of the time lag. Maximumaxial speed is calculated low by realizable k-ε model, but its velocity distributiontallies with the experimental results,so the numerical calculation result morereasonable. There is still a gap between the calculation results with test data, thevisible calculation method and calculation software still needs further improvement.Test piece machining accuracy problems will also produce certain effect on the flowfield of the combustor. The investigation results in this thesis will be a reference foroptimum design of triple-stage swirler.
