Wheel/rail contact relationship is one of the important research subjects in the rail transit. With the improvement of train speed, the interaction of wheel/rail contact is more intense, the load of the wheel/rail contact is also more complex, in order to study a more real state of wheel-rail contact of the vehicle at a high speed, this paper takes a certain type of EMU in China as the research object, full elastic system dynamics model is established, while set up the rigid system dynamics model corresponding with the full elastic system dynamics model completely, and calculate, analysis and research on the corresponding values on the basis of the work above, the results showed that:At low speed, there is not much difference between rigid system dynamics model and elastic system dynamics model on the wheel/rail contact feature; while at high speed, flexible system dynamics model can reflect the interaction between the wheel/rail more realistic; the elastic model can reflect that better when the two systems go to across the curve at high speed.With the improvement of the operating speed of the vehicle system, derailment coefficient and shedding rate increase as the interaction between wheel and rail is intensified, this also indicates that the wheel/rail force is greatly influenced by speed.Through the simulation of the vehicle goes to across different radius curve section at high speed, research and analysis the wheel-rail contact state when the vehicle crosses the curve, which indicates that two-point contact occurred when the vehicles go through the curve radius smaller sections and one-point contact also occurred when the vehicles go through the curve radius bigger sections, resulting in the increase of wear; internal and external sides of the wheel receive the same size in the opposite direction of the longitudinal creep force on the same curve radius, while lateral creep force on the both sides of the wheel is in the same direction but the amplitude is inconsistent.Geometric parameters between wheel and rail could affect the vehicle dynamic performance of the system as follows:the critical velocity increases with the increase of the coefficient of friction between the wheel/rail; the inside distance of the wheel affects wheel-rail matching relationship by changing the swim; the change of rail cant will also directly influence on wheel-rail matching relations, for example, rolling circle transverse span will be changed as rail cant changes. Rail cant have a significant impact on the contact patch area, Rail base slope is smaller, the bigger the contact spot area.This article mainly analysis on the characteristics of wheel/rail contact elastic system from the multiple perspectives, it is of great significance to improve the safety of train operation for actual vehicle how to reduce the wear and tear.
