The compressor is widely used in various industries, but with the development oftechnology, people’s demand for compressor is increasingly. Currently they not only care theperformance but pay more attention to its noise, sides and speed. However, it is the structureand principle of the compressor valve that to improve the compressor rotating speed, sizebecome very difficult.For this situation, the piston compressor was improved by changing the valve. Theimproved compressor’s working process is described and through PV diagram, a comparisonabout the pulsation, volumetric efficiency, rotating speed is made after improved. The pistonrod group dynamics model is used to analyze corresponding relationship between the cylindervolume and the crank angle, a single mass model valve group is established and is used toanalysis the valve’s displacement, moving speed and acceleration associated with the rotationof the cam. It proves valve compressor is theoretical feasibility. Because the intake air haves agreat influence on the compressor’s performance, the limited volume method is used tosimulate the compressor intake process. Three dimensional model is made by Pro/E and ismeshed for the valve timing study. The best late close angle for various rotating speed of thecompressor is focused in this study. When the compressor’s rotating speed is from1200rpm to1600rpm, the best intake late close angle is35°, When the compressor’s rotating speed is from1600rpm to2800rpm, The Best intake late close angle is40°, When the compressor’s rotatingspeed is from2800rpm to3600rpm, The Best intake late close angle is45°. The results showthat the volumetric efficiency can be improved by increasing rotating speed, Intake air inertiaand Intake late close angle.In this paper, an exploration is made for improving compressor. As for the compressor’sproblem, the valve is changed to improve the compressor. The intake process simulationshows that the rotating speed, Inflatable amount and pulsation are improved though changingvalve. It has a certain significance for improving performance of the compressor, it alsoprovides some reference for the high rotating speed compressor’s study.
