Increasingly high demand for the real-time and reliability requirements of automotivecontrol system, with high bandwidth, high fault tolerance of the FlexRay bus hasbecome a new generation of automotive internal network communication standards.FlexRay is essentially high real-time bus based on time division multiple access, themessage scheduling strategy and network configuration parameters have a direct impacton system security and reliability. This paper studies message scheduling and parameters configuration in the staticsegment of FlexRay network. All the research rely on National Natural ScienceFoundation and read numerous relevant literature and information. Fisrt, internalworking mechanism and communication mechanism in FlexRay node is analyzed, ascheduling model based on hierarchical structure in the static segment is established, schedulable definition of the static segment is given, on the basis of analyzes the worstcase response time of messages with hierarchical schedule mechanism in the staticsegment, the schedulable determine conditions in the static segment is founded. For theparameter design problem in the static segment, parameter design problem can betransformed into signal package and message ID allocation by detailed analysis. Withthe goal of network time debris and to ensure that all messages can be scheduled instatic segment, a design method based on the minimum time debris is proposed, combining classic packing problem, the ‘two-step’ boxed algorithm is given. Theproposed method is simulationed by CANoe.FlexRay and DaVinci Network DesignerFlexRay softwares. Experimental results demonstrate that the method is effective, notonly to ensure the FlexRay message transmission time limit, and can effectively reducethe time debris. The results of this research has positive significance in theory andengineering for improving real-time performance and reliability of automotive system.
