Along with the continuous development of human feet, gradually developed in science and technology, the motor vehicle industry is also continuous improvement。However, while enjoying the fruits of science, we also facing unprecedented challenges and crises。Growing energy crisis and environmental problems in recent years, vehicle energy and environmental threats posed by more and more attention by people。The pace of seeking new power energy gradually accelerated. For this reason, this paper presents compressed-air engine topics. We will study key bottlenecks for compressed-air engine developmentDescribes the advantages of compressed air vehicles compared to other new energy vehicles and outstanding issues. Analyzes critical issues inhibiting the development of a compressed-air engine-low energy inefficiency. Lists the composition of energy loss and analysis of its causesFor low energy efficiency issues, this paper presents a set of hydraulic control intake system, introduces the structure, working principle and working process of the system and had a theoretical calculation, its informed that uses this system it will increase energy efficiency from46.7%to84.1%, about1.8times. And increased the allowable inlet pressure of the compressed air engine, previously allowed inlet pressure is only1.4MPa, but after using this system Inlet pressure will the same as the pressure of cylinders can withstand, reaching8-10MPaIn order to explore the inlet system of hydraulic control characteristics and effects, we also conducted exploratory tests. During the experiment, using four-stroke diesel engine remanufactured compressed-air engineThe engine use heat-pump principle, which can effectively reduce the variability coefficient of expansion of the gas source, and improve energy efficiency. Tests on the engine and the hydraulic control air intake systems, machine efficiency has improved significantlyFinally, according to the test result analysis, we got the conditions suitable for the four-stroke engines and hydraulic control intake system is Jet-Timing angle9CA in advance, inlet pressure is3MPa.And under these conditions to explore the Jet-Timing effect on energy efficiency of the machine, and according to experimental results analysis of system deficiencies and suggestions for improvement are given.
