Currently, the foundation theory and experience of pure soil structure is quite mature. But their applicability is limited to special dual structure which is made up of soil in the upper layer and rock in the deep layer. In rock-soil combinational region, deep bedrock has high strength and good reliability and the below medium weathered rock part has the slope stability capacity and vertical carrying capacity. It is not economical to continue the way of traditional pit supporting, and how to make full use of the natural engineering geological conditions to reduce the construction cost is vital important.Deep foundation pit supporting in soil-rock areas has been occurred commonly in Dalian. In the dual structure deep foundation pit in which platform is reserved, pile-anchor support as a typical form of foundation pit support, how to play its role effectively and make the design economical and safety is the subject which was explored continuously in recent years. The finite element numerical simulation is one of the most popular method to optimize foundation pit engineering theory.Combined with the deep foundation pit engineering of Dalian Hang Lung Plaza, this paper will use finite element software ABAQUS to simulate the whole process of pit excavation. Some important data are obtained, such as the pile lateral displacement, the anchor axis force, the surface settlement after wall and the reserved platform deformation. The author himself traced and practiced the whole process of foundation pit engineering deformation monitoring, gaining valuable first-hand information. Some useful conclusions are drawn after contrastive analyzing simulation value and monitoring data. Besides, the results indicate that the reliability of the numerical model and the relevant deformation laws are verified, which can be used for the reference for designing, constructing and monitoring of the deep foundation pit support in the similar location.
