| Under the background of that more and more diesel engines are used in vehicles over the world, the emissions control of heavy duty diesel emissions is the inevitable trend in vehicle industry with the increasingly strict emission regulations. And high standards heavy duty diesel exhaust testing laboratory is the necessary hardware facilities for heavy duty vehicle emissions control. However, Anhui province, which is famous for vehicle industry, has no high standards heavy duty diesel exhaust testing laboratory. In the case, Anhui act-blue company and School of mechanical and Automotive Engineering of HFUT cooperate to establish heavy duty diesel lab for engine performance and emissions test.This paper analyzes the present situation of engine test bench system at home and abroad as well as the heavy vehicle emission control standards. According to the current development trend of automotive diesel engine, the aim of this project is that the international advanced engine performance and emissions research lab should be established. In this paper, the main work is as follows:choose the test equipment according the test requirements; design the environment of the lab according the requirements of GB17691-2005; calculate the parameters of the transmission shaft and design the diesel engine test bed; design the overall scheme of the test chamber.The manufacturers of the equipment are simply witch is helpful to maintain these equipment and have good compatibility; only calculating the shaft tube can meet the requirement instead of many other calculations; the lab can meet the requirement of Chinese emission control standards at phase V (GB5)for heavy duty diesel and has the potential for the phase VI(GB6) and the needs of Chinese emission control over the next10to15years. The key equipment can continue to upgrade for the future environment protect; installation the ventilation equipment in the pit of the engine test bench to discharge the harmful gas. |
