Engine tappet matching is an important part of the engine assembly process, an acceptable level of quality goals overall quality and performance of the engine of great influence, the paper questions how to improve the engine tappet matching quality, reliability and stability order matching engine tappet and processing quality of multi-source correlation of the study, we propose a method based on PCA-BPNN engine tappet matching prediction method to achieve the engine tappet matching activities and quality prediction control.First, by analyzing the main activities and characteristics of the engine machining and assembly processes, describes the optional engine tappet basic principles and key elements studied factors associated with processing quality and relevance.Secondly, by analyzing the impact of the importance of quality and processing engine tappet matching, establishes key processing quality factor, assuming other factors remain unchanged, based on the study of the correlation between the quality of the data processing, the introduction of principal component analysis and method of combining neural networks to build an engine tappet matching prediction model, and the model is solved and comparative tests to verify the accuracy and efficiency of the prediction model.Finally, an Automobile Co. produced a model of the four-cylinder gasoline engine production for the study, the use of camshaft engine assembly process of matching data tappet developed quite matching camshaft engine assembly process associated with the processing quality column The forecasting system, and this system is applied to the actual engine assembly activity among the engine cylinder head to achieve a quality initiative to prevent and online control, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the assembly process and the stability of quality.
