Rail cars in petroleum and chemical, thermal power plants, resources exploitation in areassuch as increasingly extensive application, the accuracy of rail car positioning system affectsthe efficiency of industrial automation.Although rail cars in different industries have differentaims to complete the homework, but rail cars on the track of accurate positioning is thepremise of finishing homework, this topic main research content is to make this railcarcomplete accurate positioning in automatic mode.This article through to the domestic and foreign existing rail car positioning technologyof contrast and analysis, draw on the advantages of various positioning technology, we designa rail car positioning system based on rack, specifically a encoder and rack positioning system,through the installation of gear and rack on the encoder, the meshing between the producecount pulse count pulse input to the controller, the controller control speed regulating motor inorder to achieve precise positioning method.The positioning system is mainly based onprogrammable logic control PLC electrical controller, control relay suck and release to controlthe car driving and parking orbit, and the closed-loop feedback control method is adopted totrack the real-time positioning adjustment.In this paper, the design of rail car positioning system based on rack, environmentalrequirements is not high on the spot, can under the condition of the conditions to realize theaccurate positioning, the positioning system has been applied in the power plant in CNOOCGuangdong Zhuhai LNG receiving station and Malaysia’s intake clean-up scraper typemachine, this article, combined with the scraper rack positioning system type cleaningmachine, the application of the application of the rail car positioning system based on rackisanalyzed.Through the scene of the operation data show that the designed based on the rail carpositioning system application in sewage disposal machine in the rack, can be implemented inthe case of unattended operation in100m, realize the target location precision of±1mm.
