As a new kind of cement-based Composite Materials,(PVA Fiber Tailings Cement BasedComposite Materials, abbreviated as PVA-TCC), which shows significant nonlineardeformation, superior toughness and high energy absorption, is extremely suitable for all kindsof repair and reinforcement. The basic properties of PVA-TCC has been studied a lot, and itshigh capacity controlled crack crack deal with problems in the project should be givenadequate attention. In this paper, PVA-TCC reinforcement of plain concrete beams andreinforced concrete beams basic performance test analysis carried out, by utilizingnon-contact-video-gauge in the test to monitor the test parameters, this paper focuses on thefailure modes of PVA-TCC reinforced test beams and change of bearing capacity anddeformation damage of property.The main work done is as follows:(1)The paper compares the traditional strain gauges attached to the electrical with themethod of the non-contact video measurement, verifying the non contact video gauge methodin the accuracy and applicability of four-point bending test for strain measurement.(2)Using PVA-TCC for12plain concrete beams reinforced linear by four-pointbending test, it has studied the effects of different thickness on the flexural properties ofreinforced plain concrete beams. The results showed PVA-TCC and concrete material caneffective bonding, and be able to coordinate deformation; bearing capacity of reinforcedconcrete beams has been significantly improved.(3)After preloading6reinforced concrete beams, using PVA-TCC reinforced bottomof the reinforced concrete beams, it has been compared reinforced concrete beams with acomparative beam through static load test, preload size and length of reinforcement areanalysised after reinforcement beam test ultimate strength and ductility of the impact.(4)Based on analysis of the test dates of seven concrete beams, the formula of theultimate bearing capacity of reinforced beams and the deflection of reinforced concrete beamafter reinforcement theory calculation formula have been established.(5)Combining with the test situation, with the aid of software ABAQUS, it cansimulate different reinforcement material nonlinear effect on the performance of bending beam. The results show that the ultimate bearing capacity of reinforced concrete beam strengthenedPVA-TCC have greater degree of increase, verifying the test using material suitable forreinforced concrete beam.
