With the modern technology progressing and the technology of electro electric improving, thedual-PWM variable frequency speed regulating system has been widely applied in various industries,owing to its high energy efficiency, superior performance of speed control and excellent reliability.However, due to the fragility of power electronic devices and consumption of long-running, thedual-PWM variable frequency speed regulating system is prone to malfunction. At best, such fault willresult in less than impact on the normal production; at worst, they create serious safety accidents andunnecessary loss. Therefore, the fault diagnosis on the dual-PWM variable frequency speed regulatingsystem has been paid much more attention by the researchers. But most of studies about the faultdiagnosis on dual-PWM variable frequency speed regulating system based on the theory of simulation.A few studies about the fault diagnosis based on real system. In addition, the Variable-Frequencysystem which have sold on markets are bad for fault diagnosis, because the high integration. So it isnecessary to constructing experiment platform of fault diagnosis about the dual-PWM variablefrequency speed regulating system.Firstly, the paper introduces the main structure of dual-PWM variable frequency speed regulatingsystem, and deduces the Mathematical model of voltage source PWM rectifier in the two-phasesynchronous rotating coordinate system, introduces the basic theory of space-vector PWM (SVPWM).Secondly, according to the main structure of the dual-PWM variable frequency speed regulating systemto build the main circuit, and design controlling circuit based on floating-point Digital Signal Processor(DSP TMS320F28335), according to the Mathematical model and SVPWM technology write thesystem control program. Finally, setting several normal fault about the dual-PWM variable frequencyspeed regulating system on the experiment platform, using the capacitors fault and IGBT fault in theinverter as an example to study and analyze.
