City rail transit plays an important role in the city public transportation system, and its operating quality has direct effect on the service level of the system. With the improvement of material life, people gradually pay more attention to inner feelings and put forward higher requirements on railway traffic, not only be able to be punctual, convenient and fast, but also has a high level of comfort, so it’s necessary to evaluate the comfort reasonably and efficiently. In order to evaluate comfort of passengers in urban rail transit, the paper studied the thermal comfort and traffic comfort, and has evaluated the comfort of rail transit from these two aspects. The main results of the research are:(1) The paper has studied the variation rules of human thermal sensation when the thermal environment has changed. By investigating the temperature, relative humidity and velocity of air in subway station and the change of human thermal sensation, the paper has analyzed the relationship between human thermal sensation and the effective temperature difference, and studied the changes of thermal sensation over time when passengers transit between the different thermal environment in subway station.(2) The paper has studied evaluation methods of the thermal comfort and traffic comfort, and presented thermal sensation in certain section of railway station by expectation of thermal sensation. The scales of thermal comfort and traffic comfort has been rated, and has analyzed the influence of thermal comfort and traffic comfort on the overall comfort in hub combing the AHP and the group decision method. As a result, influence weights of thermal comfort and traffic comfort respectively are0.33and0.67, and it means that people attach more importance on the passage of comfort levels in the subway.(3) The paper has designed and implemented the platform of hub for the intelligent management and control. Combined the functions and characteristics of the platform of hub for the intelligent management and control, the paper has designed comfort evaluation as a part of the platform to provide technical guidance for the equipment of manage and control in hub.
