Both urban bridge and highway bridge structures make the control design according tolane load and vehicle load, it is clear that there are large differences both in appearance andaxle load distribution for the specification vehicle load and actual special vehicles.Especially the special vehicle weighing up to662tons in this article is far larger than thedesign vehicle load.Since it often made a number of assumptions when designing the bridgestructure, and these assumptions are good for the carrying capacity of the structure.Therefore, the actual carrying capacity of the bridge structure is often greater than the designload capacity, which provides the possibility for the special vehicles passing the bridge.Meanwhile, the bridge structure being used is subject to many factors in the operationalphase, such as structure partial damage, steel corrosion etc. will reduce bearing capacity ofthe structure. Therefore, to carry out the Checking and safety monitoring for the carryingcapacity of Halon bridge while special vehicles passing becomes necessary and meaningful.This paper takes the objective reality that Jihua reaction vehicles need to pass the HalonBridge as the project background to this problem, the paper carried out the following work:(1) to collect research about overweight vehicles and special vehicles passing bridges athome and abroad;(2) to carry out the bridge inspection of Halon Bridge, describe the bearing capacityinspecting calculation coefficient of the structure, deterioration carrying capacity andcross-section reduction coefficient calculation process, and according to test results tocalculate these coefficients;(3) to calculate transverse distribution coefficient of each piece beam when the structureunder special vehicles and determine the most dangerous main beam. To introduce thebearing capacity inspecting calculation coefficient of the structure, deterioration carryingcapacity and cross-section reduction coefficient, and check the bending capacity, shearcapacity under special vehicles, positive stress in the use phase of the prestressed concrete Tbeams whose span respectively are45.63m,44.40m and38.64m by using midas civil.To check the carrying capacity of the bridge deck, it shows that the carrying capacity of thestructure meets the requirements.(4) to monitor when special vehicles passing the structure. It can be seen that measuredand theoretical values are closer and these trend change is same by comparison and analysisof the actual monitoring results and theoretical calculations results. Therefore, we can drawit is effective that this article introduced the bearing capacity inspecting calculationcoefficient of the structure, deterioration carrying capacity and cross-section reductioncoefficient to modify the design bearing capacity of the structure, and finally the safetymonitoring methods are feasible.
