| Gear transmission has high transmission efficiency, large transmission ratio, longservice life, high bearing capacity, compact structure and many other advantages, so itis so far the most common form of transmission in all kinds of mechanicaltransmission. Gear transmission with medium belt was put a closed annular flexiblebelt loop on the driven gear, The flexible belt act as metal gear tooth surface meshingmedium, the gear contact vice convert "high modulus and high modulus" into "highmodulus and low modulus". Due to the existence of medium belt, thereby play a ruleof reducing vibration noise and the friction and wear of gear and improving theperformance of the gear lubrication. With the continuous development of computersimulation technology, people make more and more deep research in the tribology,tribological simulation technology has been widely used. Specific to transmissionsystem of the gear driving with medium belt, this paper make a research in the aspectsof friction, wear, lubrication and so on, the main research contents are the followingaspects:1. In theory, it has studied of the surface properties of the solid and the contactcharacteristics between the metal gear and the non-metallic belt surfaces. It has alsostudied the stress analysis for the medium belt. Analysis shows that the main failuremode of the medium belt is the wear failure and the fatigue failure when it has been tothe forces of the compressive stress, the tensile stress and the friction. It is crucial forfinding the material of the medium belt which is tensile, compressive, abrasion, heatresistance and the oil resistance.2. It has studied of the wear mechanism and the friction between the medium beltand the metal tooth surface. Studies show that the medium belt is the first part which isdestroyed in the gear driving with medium belt. The friction coefficient of thePolyurethane medium belt is relevant to the normal load, tangential load and thepolyurethane flexible, viscoelasticity, strength and hardness. The wear process ofmedium belt is very complex, its mechanism is not single, it is made of several frictionforms. The size of the wear is mainly affected by the itself characteristic of the frictionpair material, relative sliding velocity, load and the influence of the externalenvironment.3. The research of lubrication theory of the gear transmission with medium belt is studied and the lubrication model of the new gear transmission has been established.Through analysing the new gear transmission lubrication mechanism,oil film thickness calculation formula is deduced. By using finite element analysissoftware on the basis of considering the oil film pressure, stress analysis was carriedout on the mesh belt type gear transmission medium, and under the effect of oil filmpressure and the change rule of tooth stress along the meshing line biggest change lawin the process of tooth root stress in tooth contact.4. Performance analysis of gear transmission with meshed medium belt throughnumerical calculation and finite element method, and the realization of simulation inthe ANSYS finite element analysis software, get the medium belt contact stress andits distribution. Based on certain assumptions and geometric characteristics of asperity,established the wear surface micro convex body physical and mathematical simulationmodel.5. The study found that the wear mainly in medium belt, contact stress anddeformation of the medium belt is obtained by the ANSYS finite element simulationsoftware and the medium belt amount of wear is obtained by the numerical calculation,The simulation results show that: Medium with wear depth and is proportional toits stress, medium with wear the most serious on the mesh nodes. |
