Large amounts of coal and electricity are consumed annually in district heating system. It is an important aspect policy to reduce energy of district heating system consumption in China. The design and construction of heating system are not fine in the current. Its’regulating equipment also is not perfect. Meanwhile, the energy and system efficiency are not high. In order to improve the design and construction standards of the heating system and achieve cost-effective operation, mathematical models and dynamic process of heating system are researched. The relating method of operation of heating system is proposed. The main contents and work are as follows:(1) In order to research the dynamic process of heating system, the relationship of the thermal energy transfer and heat exchange of the resource network and users of heating system are analysis. The mathematical models of all aspects of heating system are established.(2) By means of the mathematical models of district heating system, the simulation program of the district heating system is established based on matlab/simulink. The internal characteristics of heating system are researched.(3) In the variation conditions of outdoor temperature, the process of users’heat load is simulated. A method that the heat load is adjusted in accordance with the users’heat load is proposed.(4) In order to adapt to the changes of the flow of secondary network, the control strategy for heat of volume adjustment based" on quality adjustment is proposed. The block diagrams of water-temperature and water-pressure control are established. The simulation results show that the combined method of water-temperature control and water-pressure control can effectively improve the system dynamic response process and have better stability.In summary, so that the heat of heat-exchanger station follows the users’ the thermal load changes can effectively reduce the energy consumption in the heating system. In the condition of variable flow of the secondary network, water-temperature and water pressure can be adjusted for heat in the heating system. Heat of volume adjustment based on quality adjustment can be used as the heating system control strategy. In the condition of adjusting the water temperature and water pressure according to the outdoor temperature, the user’thermal load can be followed by the heat of heat-exchanger station.
