This paper is described the research and application on hydraulic turbine regulatingsystem based on programmable compute controller and water-turbine generator monitorand control system. Under the condition of isolated grid operation or primary frequencyregulation or load rejection, the simulation analysises the regulation characteristic, theengineering verifies the conclusion. Contraposing the problems exposed during thenc2000debug and operation, this paper analysises the reasons, it puts forward thecorresponding solutions.The hydraulic turbine regulating system involves the coordinated operation ofcurrent off wate, water-turbine generator set, the adjustment of real power, the system isaffected by the wave of the load and frequency, the hydraulic turbine regulating system isa complex nonlinear dynamic system. This paper follows the operation principle of thehydraulic turbine regulating system, it establishes the mathematical model, the hydraulicgovernor adopts programmable computer controller, under the frequency mode or powermode, the hydraulic governor adopts closed loop control, it achieves the goal through thefeedback effect signals from the given frequency deviation or power deviation. Under thecondition of isolated grid operation, the hydraulic governor adopts the parallel PIDcontrol, through analysis incompatibility in anti-disturbance and stability of the turbinespeed governor system which controlled by proved PID mode, we establish the priority of parameters optimization strategy to ensure the stability, and then follow the givenoptimization model parameters to adjust the stability, the results of simulation andpractice show that the method relieved the contradiction between disturbance andstability, it has obtained certain result. The hydraulic governor adopts the improvedparallel PID control under the condition of synchronized grid, the test of frequencyregulation cannot be repeated more, and the test of load rejection should not be repeatedmore too. In order to give the reference datas for the real test, through the simulation, itillustrates the process of the hydraulic turbine regulating system from the qualitativeanalysis and comparative, it provides technical support for the adjustment to ensure theparameters optimization.The hardware device of the water-turbine generator monitor and control systemadopts local control unity based on programmable logic controller, the software adoptsnc2000, the turbine speed governor system adjust load through accepted the commandsof the monitoring system. Nc2000computer monitoring system adopts client/servesystem structure; it realizes the remote signaling, remote measuring, remote regulatingand real-time monitoring for the water-turbine generator set. The results of debuggingand operating show that, the monitor and control system has high control precision, datatransmission is reliable, maintenance is easy, it has a high technical level. Contraposingthe high voltage problem of the water-turbine generator set under the specific power grid,it restores the working condition of the system by simulation power systems and putsforward the corresponding solution. Contraposing the problems exposed during themonitor and control system operation, this paper puts forward the correspondingsolutions to the similar hydraulic power plant at automatic control design andoptimization, it has certain reference.
