With the development of national economy and railway cargo transportation in the direction of heavy-haul railway,in order to ensure the comfot and safety of the heavy-haul train operation, it is becoming more and more important that the settlement and deformation of railway subgrade.An automatic and real-time monitoring method is needed to monitor the post-construction settlement conveniently and accurately along subgrade cross-section.Then study the law of settlement and deformation,and evaluate tsubgrade stability.Through analyzing the destruction mechanism of subgrade,it can provide a theoretical basis for the maintenance and repair work.Compared to common monitoring methods for settlement of subgrade at present,a monitoring system for settlement of subgrade made up with horizontal inclinometer and laser rang finder was adopted.Measuring the settlement of both sides of subgrade by laser rang finder to make up for the deficiency of the horizontal inclinometer.GM(1,1) model is based on the monitoring system in order to predict the settlement of subgrade in the future.3D finite element model of heavy-haul railway subgrade was founded with ANSYS software,and determine the unit selection and calculation parameters on the base of finite element theory.Through the static analysis of railway subgrade,a effect law under different parameters was obtained.It is a useful method that the calculation of settlement of subgrade with ANSYS software.Analysing the settlement and stability of subgrade under different conditions,such as different height,slope types, embankment fillers and foundations with FEM strength reduction method.Then summarized the deformation law and provide a theoretical basis to improve the high subgrade construction technology.The results showed that the monitoring system for settlement of subgrade can improve the work efficiency and accuracy of settlement monitoring,on which GM(1,1) model based can meet the needs of accuracy requirement of subgrade settlement. Drucker-Prager elastoplastic constitutive model is reliable for the analysis of settlement and stability of subgrade.The deformation law has a guiding significance in engineering practice under different conditions.
