In Marine engine, the proportion of diesel engine is very big. The technology of marine engine is developing rapidly in recent years. But there are still some weaknesses for technology in our country. So, I will make a research on16RK270diesel engine.In this thesis, I use the GT-FUEL to build a fuel injection system model, and on the GT-POWER software platform to build single-cylinder machine. I compare the experiment results with the simulation results to verify the credibility of the model. In the calculation on fuel injection system model, get the results that can describe the fuel injection system, such as injection pressure, needle lift, injection mass and so on. In the calculation on single-cylinder machine model, analyze the power performance and emission, such as the pressure and temperature in cylinder, NOx and Soot curves.In order to analyzing the influence of key parameters for injection system on the spray characteristics, In the case of other basic parameters are fixed, change the size of the parameters which the research hope to evaluate. In this paper, we not noly analysis the fuel injection pump plunger diameter, but also analysis the high pressure oil pipe’s length and inner diameter for system. Due to the complexity of the structure of the injection system, using this method can make us clear understanding of the various parameters for systematically influence situation. So in the future, in the process of the optimization of diesel engine, we will have the clarity of thought to set parameter. Save a lot of work time.Set different cases of plunger diameter, length and inner-diameter of high pressure pipe to make the compare calculation. Compare different influence of these parameters on the injection pressure, needle lift and injection rate. Analyze the reasons of difference in the contrast and propose the best case.Make DOE optimization calculation on GT-Power, set the advance angle of fuel supply and compression ratio as the variables, compare the NOx and Soot in the DOE calculation and get five groups of the two variables. Calculate the five conditions to choose the best match based on the emission.
