This paper introduced the development status and characteristics of urban traffic linktunnel, urban traffic link tunnel bears higher fire risk level and has more complicated designof smoke evacuation systems. Taking a urban traffic link tunnel as an instance, itscharacteristics of structure and the design of smoke evacuation systems have been analysed.According to the straight and bending section of main tunnel, link tunnel, access tunnel, avariety of fire scenarios were built in this tunnel, the fluid calculation software, FLUENT wasadopted and used to build the full scale tunnel model, the boundary conditions of this tunnelhave been analysed, the smoke of different fire scenarios have been simulated.The results of somke simulation which based on a fire scenario have been compared, thereasonable smoke strategy has been determined. Considering the results of evacuationscenarios, the best smoke strategy of each fire scenarios has been determined. the smokestrategy of the straight section and the bending section of main tunnel, link tunnel, accesstunnel have been put forward. A axial fan should be activated to supply air in the straightsection of main tunnel, two axial fans should be activated to supply air in the bending sectionof main tunnel, link tunnel, access tunnel.The research of fire smoke control of the urban traffic tunnel is based on the expansionand improvement of the general road tunnel, the research findings in this thesis provides thereference for the design of fire smoke control, the establishment of node for the urban trafficlink tunnel.
