The abrasion resistant properties of concrete is a currently issue of research at home and abroad. Steelslag as a metallurgical industry waste residues, a large number of accumulations leads to a series of seriousenvironmental problems to be solved. This paper studyed its performance, workability, abrasion resistantproperties under different water-binder ratio by utilizing the slag of different size as concrete admixture.First of all,the surface area (425m2/kg) of fine grinding of steel slag powder that againsted pressure strengthcontribution rate larger was chosen under the water-binder ratio of0.31and the condition of the dosage of20%through the test. Based on the above the above test, concrete of each age strength under thewater-binder ratio of0.27,0.31,0.35,0.39and steel slag powder (specific surface area of425m2/kg) contentof0%,10%,20%,30%,40%were analyzed. Then, concrete with the sand shape steel slag and the stoneshape steel slag of each age strength under the water-binder ratio of0.27,0.31,0.35,0.39and steel slagcontent of0%,10%,20%,30%,40%were analyzed. Based on the strength test, the abrasion resistantproperties of content with different particle size of steel slag whose age was twentyeight day weretested. Then, the optimum slag of different diameter slag was showed. The tentative effect indicats:(1)Under the same water-binder ratio (0.31) and the same dosage of steel slag powder (20%), theconcrete’s bearing strength grinding powder gradually increases along with the specific ratio surfaceincreasing. But, when the specific surface area is larger than425m2/kg, instars of concrete bearing strengthincreased slowly.(2)The primary elements influencing the crushing resistance of concrete is water-binder ratio, stadium and the slag’s content. Under distinct grain diameter of steel slag at same content, the compressivestrength of same age increases along with water-binder ratio reducing. The compressive strength under thesame water-binder ratio increased along with age increasing.(3)when the dosage of fine grinding of steel slag powder was10%, the concrete’s long-termintensity (28d,60d and90d) have a slight increase by benchmark concreteunder the same conditions. Incontrast, when the dosage of fine grinding of steel slag powder was more than10%, the concrete’slong-term intensity falled rapidly. The twenty-eight day’s abrasion resistant strength with fine grinding ofslag powder is similar to the changing rule of the later strength. Accordingly, Optimal of steel slag micromist content at10%is the best.(4)The compressive Strength and the abrasion resistant properties with the sand shape steel slag isstronger then others. It’s compressive Strength of each age were all greater than the benchmarkconcret. When the emery form slag’s content is within30%,the concrete’s later bearing strength constantlygrows with the sand shape slag’s increasing subjoining. On the contrary, it showed the tendency of decline. The twenty-eight day’s abrasion resistant strength with the stone shape steel slag is similar to the changingrule of the later strength. Therfore, when the slag’s amount is30%, the compressive Strength and theabrasion resistant performance is best.(5)Concrete’s bearing strength of each stone shape steel slag’s instar is better than the benchmarkcontent. When the water-binder ratio is same, the beforhand bearing strength (1d,3d,7d) grows with thesteel slag’s content adding. When the dosage of the stone shape steel slag is30%, the later compressivestrength is the best. The twenty-eight day’s abrasion resistant strength with the stone shape steel slag issimilar to the changing rule of the later strength. So stone shape steel slag’s content at10%is the best.
