Such as petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power, nuclear power industry’s rapiddevelopment, people increasingly urgent requirement for pneumatic control valve of thesmart control of the control valve quality put forward higher requirements. Smart valvepositioner is the brain of a pneumatic control valve, for the whole of the regulator functionmay play a decisive role, the performance of the control system. In recent years, countriesaround the world are racing to study FISHER, SIEMENS, SAMSON company hassuccessively introduced a new generation of smart fault diagnosis function of the smart valvepositioner, domestic because starts late, there is no this kind of product, so the market iscompletely monopoly, the high price of imported locator. So, study design domestic onlinediagnosis smart valve positioner is very be necessary.In this paper, the smart valve positioner online diagnosis were studied, the main workincludes:(1) In the research design online diagnosis smart valve positioner, taking into fullconsideration the needs of the domestic market and the domestic actual situation, proposedthe design a online diagnosis based on low power consumption MCU smart valve positioner.(2)4-20ma signal input power consumption due to the limit, efficient DCDC powersupply design method is proposed, the method improves the efficiency of power supply, twowire system for online diagnosis of the design of the smart valve positioner provides aguarantee.(3) Put forward the fieldbus communication function of the design of the modularapproach, the method for online diagnosis of the intelligent valve positioner online diagnosisfunction provides the support.(4) Based on pulse adjustable width control mode and switch "five-step method" is putforward the optimization of the locator speed quantitative control algorithm, realize the easyswitch between the algorithm.(5) Mainly aims at the integration of the pressure, temperature sensors, such asapplications, the valve limit working position detection and transmission, the valve startingpoint and end point, the compensation for the initial momentum after running change, theabove parameters, effectively used in the control process of the machine, to achieve thepurpose of online diagnosis.
