In the history of human development, energy has always been an extremely significant role. Nowadays, the energy crisis has become the inevitable problem in the world’s economic development. This situation caused the proposal on the clean energy technology. All the countries in the world have put their main focus on the renewable energy which includes solar, hydro, biomass, geothermal energy and other natural energy. These energies are characterized by abundant, renewable, sustainable for human and no worry about the resource depletion.This paper mainly studies on multi-energy complementary power generation technology. This technology here means using systematic, intelligent control technology to integrate the solar, wind and kinetic energy, make the power generation system more secure and reliable, make them to become a new, all-weather, high-efficiency, friendly-environmental power generation system which has the advantages of low cost, high efficiency, multi-energy complementary, distributed control, etc. this technology not only has a certain theoretical significance, but also has a strong promotional value.This paper provides the overall structure of the wind, solar, kinetic energy complementary power generation system. The analysis has been put in depth about the consistence of the system components. The Photovoltaic battery, low-speed vertical-axis wind generator and the kinetic energy collector have been chosen to construct the system. To start with the energy control, the power generation system’s MPPT (Max Power Point Tracing) and the battery charging and discharging technology and their way to achieve have been explored under different situation. A multi-energy complementary controller characterized by miniaturization, electronic and centralized control has been designed with "dual core" control technology. This controller has improved reliability and fault tolerance. The multi-energy complementary control strategy and the "dual core" technology have been achieved in the software. Finally, the generator module, the battery and the controller consist into the new power generation system.Through the commissioning and the stability tests, the system has achieved the MPPT to the wind, solar and kinetic energy and the system can fits the original purpose and make the continuous operation in the lab’s condition. This lays a good foundation of the application in the actual environment.In the future’s renewable energy utilization system, multi-energy complementary is an inevitable trend of development. The multi-energy complementary system designed by this paper has done a useful attempt with the exploratory spirit.
