As the development of electrical technology, there are more and more types of electricalequipments, the structure of the distribution line is becoming more and more complex.The generation model of distribution line fault is complex and diverse, some large-scaleelectrical fires are caused by electrical fire, so identify the electrical fault categories ofelectric system and the location of the fault is very necessary. In our country, theidentification technology and identification methods of the distribution line fault is still notvery developed. In-depth understanding of common electric fault of low voltage distributionline, and mastering the communication mode is benefit to timely find out the reason of thefault, quickly stop the fire form spreading and fault cleaning. Make ensure of the normalwork of the power distribution lines. The study for low-voltage power distribution system ofthe common fault features and pattern recognition is very few, for the traditional supplysystem fault recognition based on the experience identification. But for non professionalpersonnel or system more complex,experience has been unable to meet the requirements ofcognizance. This requires a mechanism, the failure causes rules of systems analysis, thispaper research on fault diagnosis of power supply circuit with suppot vactor machine.This paper first introduces the composition of low-voltage power supply system, andanalyzes several common electrical faults of low voltage power supply system as well as thereasons; Secondly,Simulation analysis several common electrical fault of low voltage powersupply system by using Matlab/simulink: short circuit, overload, open phase, leakage andpoor contact faults. Obtained the waveform when a fault occurs in the transmission lineabove the different location of the voltage and current.Based on the simulation and experimental results, Extracted characteristic parameterswhich can characterize the system running status; Applicating support vector machinelearning algorithm, establishes a mathematical model of power system fault location and faultpattern recognition.Create graphical user interface by Matlab/GUI, to control simulink document and faultpattern recognition modle, and make visual effect of fault simulation and fault diagnosis.
