With the prospect of coal and petroleum and other traditional fossil energy storagecapacity decreased continuously and increasing on the international demand for energy, windpower technology as a new energy rapid rise in recent years, especially the direct drivepermanent magnet synchronous wind generator as the main type of future wind powerdevelopment is become a research hotpot at present. Among them, the direct drivepermanent magnet synchronous wind power converter technology is the core technology ofthe system. Thus to strengthen and improve the efficient operation of grid connected windpower research on direct drive permanent magnet synchronous wind power converter controltechnology for wind turbine power quality has the vital significance.This paper selects full power converter of direct drive permanent magnet synchronousgenerator as the main research object. This paper has further researched control strategy ofmotor side and grid side converter of wind power system, and has carried on the simulationusing the software for power system PSCAD. The second chapter it introduces the basicstructure and mathematics of direct drive permanent magnet synchronous generator model,the PWM converter technology, power electronic devices and related direct drive permanentmagnet synchronous wind power generation system, and the use of dq/abc coordinatetransformation relation obtained the mathematical model of two-phase rotating coordinatesystem of direct drive permanent magnet machine side synchronization of wind powersystem and grid side PWM converter. The third chapter in view of the machine side of directdrive permanent magnet synchronous generator focuses on variable flow zero d axis currentvector control (ZDC) control method, and model building and simulation in the software forpower PSCAD. The fourth chapter the mathematical model aiming at network side PWMconverter system is established and this paper analyzes control the principle of direct controland direct current control power of the network side converter. By comparing, direct currentcontrol grid voltage oriented vector control strategy is selected, and the modeling andsimulation software for power PSCAD. Finally, according to the input harmonic current ofpower network grid analyses the necessity of the harmonic hazards and governance, and byadopting the method that harmonic current controller phase shifting reactor and variable flowsystem is combined to control this, using the software to simulate and analyze output harmonic current waveform, and verified from the combination of the two on theeffectiveness of the harmonic suppression.In conclusion, through the research and Simulation of the system based on the directdrive permanent magnet synchronous wind power system with variable flow control strategy,it is verified that the generator side and grid side control strategy is correct and it improvesthe quality of wind power grid connected wind power.
