In recent years, cable-stayed bridge have quickly development in our country, becausethe advantage of single tower cable-stayed bridge on the aesthetics, currently uses thistype of bridge is more and more, both have completely concrete or steel beam, but alsohas the main steel edge blending composite beam. In this paper, nanfeihe rivers bridgeas the engineering background, calculation and analysis of single tower cable-stayedbridge’s static, at the same time to analyze and research the stability characteristics. Thebridge was consolidated with tower girder and pier system, is the largest single span, main pillar top, width of the widest Bridges in hefei. This paper reviewed the origin of the cable-stayed bridge with single towercable-stayed bridge and its general situation of the development at home and abroad, andbriefly analyzes the structural characteristics and the applicable scope of single towercable-stayed bridge.By using the finite element software Midas/Civil2012establish thebridge model, Calculation and analysis the stress state of the construction phase andoperation phase and deformation characteristics. According to the load condition Midasmodel is established to simulate the buckling mode, calculation and analysis thestability characteristics of the bridge. The application of finite element software ANSYSto establish the space computing model, to analyze the stress in construction state on thethree cable pulling tower space characteristics.Analysis shows that the results of thisstudy will help to guide the nanfeihe river bridge construction control to provide thereference design, also can provide reference for design of the same kind of bridges.
