The function of the steel-concrete joint section is to realize structural cohesion effectively and guarantee safety of the structure and smoothly transition, which is widely used in large span hybrid cable-stayed bridges, steel bridge tower section, steel tube concrete arch bridge and high rise buildings and so on. Thus, it is significant to conduct the research of the influencing factors and the load distribution for the connector of steel-concrete joint section.On the basis of cross-lake bridge’s engineering design of Liaodong bay of Panjin, this paper overview the steel-concrete joint section’s classification and composition, the history and present situation of application and research and the strength and stiffness of the shear connector. More importantly, this paper conducted the research of numerical simulation method and assumption of a single shear connector’s test, analyzed the factors which influence the connector’s bearing capacity, explored the load distribution and the changes of multi layer and multi row connector. The main research contents and results are as followed.First, simulating the test process of the single connector’s model in numerical method. Emphatically considered the effects of contact nonlinear of PBL and the material nonlinearity. Analysis results show that the results the load slippage curve of each model are close with the previous, and the PBL exists obvious contact nonlinear phenomena.Second, conducting the research of the factors that influence the connector’s, such as the stud’s length and diameter, the perforated plate’s thickness and aperture, the perforated rebar’s length and diameter. The results showed that, the stud’s diameter, the plate’s thickness, the perforated rebar’s diameter have obvious influence, others are relatively weaker.Third, exploring the load distribution and the changes of the connector group, which is designed according to engineering facility. The load distribution of each layer connector is largely discrete. The proportion of load shows a saddle shape, with both ends big and the middle small.Each layer connector’s distribution of force have little variation along with the external load.
