| Magnetic materials are one kind of the most common materials in people’s daily life, and, among them, the ferromagnetic material is the most significant to society. With the development of technology, due to the advancing production process and new kinds of materials, the separation of different materials has been taken tremendous attention. In this situation, this paper has designed a new system to accomplish the separation of the most common ferromagnetic materials qualitatively and non-destructivelySo far, the main separation methods include spectral analysis, residual magnetism method and initial magnetic permeability method. Base on the fact that when the probe touches the materials its own inductance will be influenced, after analyzing the measurement principles of inductance transducer, the coil inductance has been employed as the probe to complete the rapid ferromagnetic materials discernment by measuring the variation caused by the disparate influences from disperse magnetic materials to the probe.a. Based on the inductive transducer structure, this paper has designed a new kind of inductive transducer to discern disparate ferromagnetic materials with iron-core inductance coils as the probe. Furthermore, three kinds of iron core of different shapes have been analyzed and the most appropriate one has been employed.b. After the theory analysis, the proper device parameters and reference range of the inductance of the probe have been generated. This paper implements the DDS sweep signal resource and portable measurement controlled with MCU.c. The host computer software has been designed with VS2008, and the communication has been worked out with the serial port between the host computer and measuring equipment. The main functions include altering and setting system parameters, receiving measuring data, recording and reading data and plotting the waveforms according to the corresponding data.d. By measuring the standard ductile cast iron and comparing the calibration value and observed value, the rapid qualitative separation can be carried out effectively.Finally, this paper demonstrates the system with experiment platform and actually measures the ductile cast iron. The result shows that the system communicates effectively and can distinguish various cast iron, which meets the relevant requirements. |
